Description
Yucca carnerosana is a very close relative to Yucca faxoniana with a stout elephant-foot like trunk holding a crown of deep-green, meter-long leaves, slightly fibrous at the margins. It holds enormous presense and is a fearsome yet hugely architectural plant. Some confusion exists with its identification with faxoniana although carnerosana generally originates in more southerly regions in Mexico. Should be fairly hardy, although little data exists. Again, like all trunk forming Yuccas, requires a sunny position in very free draining soil.
