Description

Jerre Schwartz’ is wonderful, dwarf Japanese Maple has distinctive, deeply lobed leaves that emerge a bright pink red, before turning darker maroon then green as the leaf matures. Fresh growth in the red shades adds interest through the growing season before the leaves turn dark red in the autumn. This is a small variety reaching just 1.5 metres after 10 years and is a good choice for the smaller garden, a specimen for a pot or to add variety to your Japanese maple collection. Will grow in most fertile, free draining soils in gentle sun or part shade sheltered from strong winds.
