Musa itinerant ‘Indian Form’

Description

Musa itinerant ‘Indian Form’ is a beautiful tender banana from the Sikkim region of India.  The leaves are bright green and slightly more ‘stout’ than other forms, with a fabulous red-purple central stripe, looking very exotic indeed.  In its natural surroundings it may reach 3-4m in height.  Here in the UK, this is a candidate which may be container grown and staged outside in the warmer months, or lifted for the winter months.  It must be kept frost free but nonetheless is a stunning banana.
