Description
Agave titanota (oteroi) Red Catweasle is an exciting new addition and – what a name! There is a little dispute about nomenclature and even one theory that this fabulous variety is to do with a 70’s punk rock band called ‘Catweazle’ and a song called ‘Seeing Red’…who knows! All we know is – we like it!
Agave titanota (oteroi) Red Catweasle forms a bold and dense rosette of fleshy green-glaucous leaves with bold spint margins in shades of pale beige-cream. Usually forming a single rosette and and more compact variety, this is an excellent contender for container growing. Plant in very free draininng soil and place in a sunny warm position. Protect from freezing and soggy conditions over the winter months. Rare and beautiful!
Here we offer bare root plants, all of which come with a free and appropriately sized planting container. Professsional grade compost, mixed by us is also available in 2L and 4L bags.
Best of all – all our bare root plants are from stock grown by us here in Sussex.
