Aloe maculata ‘Giant Form’ – Bare Root

Description

Aloe maculata ‘Giant Form’ is a bold and highly desirable Aloe prized for the beautiful mottled pattern on the leaves, which are larger and broader than those of Aloe maculata.  The leaves are deep green with spined margins and form a stunning rosette from which offsets often form.  During the summer months, fabulous heads of orange-red tubular flowers appear above the leaves on tall stems.  This is an excellent choice for container growing, although Aloe maculata ‘Giant Form’ will tolerate the cold, it will not tolerate ice and frost, so do bring it into a cool conservatory or greenhouse for the cooler months. Plant in free draining, gritty compost.  Grow in a sunny position.
