Aloe glauca

Description

Aloe glauca is a wonderful South African Native,  sometimes known as the ‘Blue Aloe’ owing to the beautiful glaucous ‘leaves’.  The leaves take on shades of red and pink during periods of stress such as drought or cold weather.  In the summer months spikes of orangge-red flowers form on long stems, held. above the leaves.  Although it is said to be hardy down to around minus 3, we would recommend container. growing this. gorgeous Aloe and staging it outside in the summer months, then bringing it into a frost free bright position during the coolest months.
