Teucrium fruticans

Description

Teucrium fruticans is member of the mint family and native to western and central Mediterranean.  It is a wonderfully upright silvery shrub with aromatic silvery-green leaves. Whorls of dark blue flowers form in the summer months.  Will reach a height of around 60cm.  Plant in a sunny position in free draining soil.  An excellent coastal plant. Happy to be pruned in to a hedge or topiary. Benefits from a prune in early spring to promote new growth
