Citrus australasica var. microcitrus ‘Caviar Rose’

Citrus australasica var. microcitrus’ Caviar Rose’ is another wonderful variety of ‘Australian Finger Lime’ which is rapidly becoming very popular as an easy citrus plant to grow readily producing beautifully  sweet smelling flowers which are followed by finger limes. This rare variety has beautiful pinky coloured citrus pearls inside the dark green to purplish fruits. Not only are they highly ornamental they add delicious tasty citrus explosions to any dish or drink.

They can be grown in a conservatory, cool glasshouse, or bright windowsill indoors. Finger limes are also happy outside during the warmer months. We feed ours weekly with a seaweed-based fertiliser.
