Description
Dryopteris crassirhizoma is a attractive semi-evergreen shuttlecock fern. Its fronds grow in an upright habit from a dense brown crown to form a vase-like shape. It can reach up to 1m in height and width.
It is happy in any moisture-retentive soil and does best in a shade or part-shade position. It is hardy down to around minus 15 degrees C.
