Begonia grandis ssp. Evansiana

Begonia grandis subsp. Evansiana is a wonderfully exotic looking hardy perennial originating from China and japan.  The leaves are almost heart shaped and deep green with the most wonderful pinky-red undersides and red veining.  As is this wasn’t enough, during summer, pink-white flowers appear.  Ideal for a shady sport and will grow in well in even the most tricky of locations reaching between 30cm and 50cm in height.
