Impatiens kilimanjari x pseudoviola – what a mouthful but what a plant! The flowers are bold, hot pink and viola shaped held on the characteristic, fleshy stems and zingy green leaves that we often see with Impatiens. Such a pretty little plant that really stands out and flowers prolifically providing it’s in the right environment. Being not particularly hardy, we recommend growing in a frost free environment – so either in a frost free green house or conservatory year round, or outside in the ground or in a container, moving it in for the cooler months – either way, fertile, free draining but moisture retentive soil is essential and partial shade is best.
