Description
Isoplexis canariensis ‘Bella’ is a highly exotic looking ‘half hardy’ perennial sometimes known as ‘Canary Island Foxglove’. During the summer months tall spires of foxglove-like flowers appear on stems reaching up to 1.2-1.5m in height. The flowers are a spectacular shade of rich firey orange-red held above deep green foliage – quite a spectacle. Plant in a sheltered position in partial shade and in fertile, slightly acidic soil. In milder areas a winter mulch may be anough to over winter plants however we would recommend lifting plants and storing in a frost free location.
