Tradescantia sillamontana

Description

Tradescantia sillamontana, otherwise known as ‘White Velvet’ owing to the gorgeous, tactile leaves which are covered with silky white hairs.  Reaching up to 30cm in height, forming a dense and trailing mound, stunning deep pink, 3-petalled flowers appear during the summer months looking highly exotic.  Can be planted or placed outside in the wamer months but will require some winter protection so container growing is best for colder areas!
