Yucca rigida

Description

Yucca rigida is a spectacular trunk-forming variety native to northern Mexico.  It’s dramatic, architectural and will enjoy a sunny and free draining, sheltered position.  The narrow spear shaped leaves are silvery-blue-green and arranged in a dense rosette.  In colder areas, it’s worth adding a bit of winter protection ot growing in a container.  During late-spring you may be fortunate enough to see your yucca flower – beautiful clusters of pure white flowers held on tall stems.
