Aralia elata ‘Variegata’

Description

Aralia elata ‘Variegata’ is rarely seen variety of the Japanese angelica tree. It is a very architectural deciduous shrub prized for its stunning tropical-looking foliage with bright creamy-white margins. In summer exotic, feathery  flowers appear and in autumn the leaves turn a beautiful coppery-bronze autumn. Grows to around 4-5 metres tall in U.K gardens. Happy in most soils but best avoiding wet waterlogged conditions.
