Aucuba japonica ‘Rozannie’ is a wonderfully useful and versitile hardy evergreen shrub and prized for the woderfully glossy rich-green foliage.  

Growing up to 1.2m in height and spread, Aucuba japonica ‘Rozannie’ is an excellent option for those areas of shade or semi-shade in the garden where finding evergreen cover can be tricky.  Plant in fertile free draining soil.  Pruning is seldom required.

  • Exposure:Exposed or Sheltered.
  • Postion/Facing:North-facing or East-facing or West-facing.
  • Flower:Purple.
  • Foliage:Green evergreen leaves.
  • Fruit:Red.
  • Habit:Bushy rounded evergreen shrub with dense foliage
  • Eventual Size:1.2 metres, but can be pruned
  • Hardiness:Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters (-15 to -10)
