Description
Azara serrata is a stunning small tree/large shrub with wonderfully glossy green serrated, ovate foliage. During May-June, amazing deep yellow, fuzzy flowers appear in abundance which are highly fragrant so do plant somewhere where you can enjoy delicious whafts of vanilla! Flowers are followed by small white berries.
Will reach up to 1m in width but can reach up to 3-4m in height. Plant in fertile, free draining soil in a sunny position. May also be container grown to great effect. Hardy.
