Fatsia japonica ‘Spiders Web’ is a wonderfully architectural and versatile Fatsia with fabulous variegation. The large palmate leaves are a rich mixture of glossy green marbeled with white – some leaves are almost entirely white making a bold and highly unusual statement.
During the spring small creamy flowers will appear which are loved by pollinators, as if that isn’t enough these are followed by small black fruits in autumn which are loved by birds.
Fatsia japoinica ‘Spiders Web’ requires a semi-full shade position and sits beautifully next to other hardy-exotic or jungly plants such as palms and bamboo. Ensure it has free-draining moisture retentive soil.
