Photinia x fraseri ‘Red Robin’

Description

Photinia x fraseri ‘Red Robin’ is a seriously versatile shrub for use as a specimen plant or as a hedge.

What makes Photinia so popular is the beautiful glossy foliage which emerges as vibrant, brilliant red maturing to deep green.  Left unclipped, small white flowers may emerge during May, loved by pollinators.  These are sometimes followed by red berries.

Photinia x fraseri ‘Red Robin’ clips beautifully and can easily be shaped and maintained.  Other than occasional pruning, it requires very little attention.

For best results plant in full sun in a sheltered position in free draining soil.
