Pittosporum tobira ‘Tall ‘n’ Tough’

Description

Pittosporum tobira, sometimes known as ‘The Japanese Mock Orange’, is a well known flowering evergreen from Japan and Korea; ‘Tall ‘n’ Tough’ is a beautiful super-hardy upright form and was first discovered growing in the most northern parts hence the hardiness.  The wonderful citrus-like flowers are produced from May to June above the lush deep green, shiny foliage.

Although tolerant of most conditions, including coastal locations, ‘Tall ‘n’ Tough’ flowers best in a sunny spot.  An excellent evergreen shrub either as a specimen or planted in swathes.

Here we offer young plants which can either be planted out or grown on in containers.  Plant in fertile, free draining soil.  Much sought after and rarely available.
