Equisetum hyemale var. robustum an exciting rare form of Equisetum capable of reaching 2 metres high with robust upright grower with architectural upright leafless stems striped alternately green and black, the new growth flushed pink. For best results grow in damp soil, keep well fed and enjoy its rapid spring and early summer growth. An adaptable and easy to grow hardy exotic. It can also be grown in a container or as a marginal plant and is even happy as a house plant on a bright window shelf or conservatory.
