Impatiens pritzelii ‘Sichuan Gold’

Description

Impatiens pritzelii ‘Sichuan Gold’ is a beautiful shade-loving plant originating from the Sichuan provence of China.  During spring, zingy green lance-shaped foliage appears creating the perfect back drop for the flowers which emerge during late summer and autumn.  The trumpet-shaped flowers are a rich creamy yellow with striking deep yellow throats speckled with orange.

Impatiens pritzelii ‘Sichuan Gold’ will thrive in a full to semi-shaded position in free draining, moisture retentive soil. It is deciduous so will die back to the ground during the colder monts but fear not, it’s pretty hardy and will come back to life once the warmer weather appears.
