Eucalyptus perriniana

Description

Eucalytus perriniana known as the ‘Spinning Gum’ due to the juvenile elliptic shaped leaves remaining on the stems once they die to spin in the wind as they dry. Eventually this eucalyptus matures into a stately narrow upright tree the leaves becoming long and sickle shaped. Another eucalyptus that can easily be kept shrub like if you prefer by hard pruning each year. Best planted in a sunny spot avoiding waterlogged soils.
